MONOCRYL™ Plus Suture, Undyed, Size 2-0, 36", Ct-1 Needle, Undyed, is a synthetic absorbable monofilament suture designed for soft tissue approximation where an absorbable suture is indicated. It is composed of poliglecaprone 25 and coated with an antibacterial agent, typically triclosan, which helps inhibit bacterial colonization on the suture surface, making it suitable for procedures at higher risk of infection.

MONOCRYL™ Plus is valued for its excellent pliability and flexibility, offering smooth passage through tissue and reduced drag. Its monofilament construction minimizes tissue trauma, while the undyed format is preferred in certain surgical scenarios for better visualization or lower pigmentation concerns. It glides easily and handles well in delicate or precision closures.

The CT-1 needle, a 1/2 circle taper point needle, provides precise penetration and reduced trauma to surrounding tissue. The suture’s ease of knot tying and reliable knot security further enhance surgical efficiency, particularly in subcuticular and dermal closures.
